“Foootball, You Bet!”

I’m still not entirely up to speed with the whole “adjective-as-team-name” idea. Or is it a verb?  You can be “sporting” a snazzy new hat.  Maybe I’m mixed up anyway and “sporting” is something you are, like “lumpy” or “bent”.  So what is that? a direct object?  Anyway, the gorgeous soccer stadium is Livestrong Park in Kansas City, KS – by Populous.

  1. isn’t “populous” an adjective as well? I guess it is a little easier to fit on a business card than “densely populated”…
