UMKC Architecture

The Architecture, Urban Planning +Design program at UMKC has moved out of the haunted Epperson House and into its newly renovated home at Katz Hall. The smell of fresh paint might remind the old-timers who were around at KU in the early ’80’s of the Marvin Hall renovation – though this design by Helix Architecture (new client!) eschews the muted grays and goes with light neutrals and bright red accents. Go have a look now before those little monsters ruin the new walls with their masking tape. (“No tape on the walls!” was the law at Marvin Hall; violators were beaten mercilessly)
